Microsoft Names Cloudera ISV Data Platform Vendor of the Year
As a Microsoft partner, Cloudera had the opportunity to attend the annual Microsoft Inspire conference (formerly Worldwide Partner Conference) this month. It’s a destination for partners to understand upcoming product roadmaps, learn about new programs and share best practices with other Microsoft partners in the global community. At each conference Microsoft acknowledges its partners through a series of ‘Partner of the Year’ awards, recognizing those partners who have made an outstanding contribution to the Microsoft partner ecosystem and its customers.
Cloudera was named the 2017 U.S. Enterprise Partner Group Data Platform ISV Partner of the Year at Microsoft Inspire. The accolade was shared because of Cloudera’s leadership in open source big data and its close collaboration with Microsoft’s sales, engineering and marketing teams to further our strategic partnership. Nominated by the Microsoft field sales organization, it identifies top performing partners across a broad range of categories.
Our joint efforts have helped accelerate Microsoft’s work in helping our customers achieve digital transformation.
“Receiving the Enterprise Partner Group ISV Data Platform Partner of the Year means customers are seeing the value of deploying Cloudera on Azure to achieve elastic scale with cloud.” said Melinda Amoratis, Director of Strategic Alliances at Cloudera. “Customers like Joy Global (acquired by Komatsu) are predicting machine failures with more accuracy and spending less. Cloudera’s partnership with Microsoft Azure, a leader in providing hyper-scale cloud computing, means other Cloudera on Azure customers can gain operational efficiency in new and exciting ways.”
